Role Overview:
As a Data Cabling Project Manager, you will oversee small works, moves, adds, and changes projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Youll work closely with clients, manage project teams, and ensure all technical and safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee data cabling projects, including small works, moves, adds, and changes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Supervise installation teams to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to define project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- Manage stock for engineers and coordinate using customer service Now software.
- Oversee the downloading and management of test results.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a non-working supervisor or Project Manager in the data cabling or IT infrastructure industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of data cabling standards, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
